Line configurations

ModelCapacityLine configuration
Batch Chocoline 500/P500 kg/3hAOK-500 Preparation Mixer, ABM-500 Batch System Ball Mill
Batch Chocoline 1000/P1000 kg/4–5hAOK-1000 Preparation Mixer, ABM-1000 Batch System Ball Mill

The Batch System is designed for low-capacity production of chocolate, compound, and cream fillings. The refining cycle in the Ball Mill is approximately 3 hours for the ABM-500 model and 4–5 hours for the ABM-1000 model, depending on the powdered sugar-based recipe and the required fineness.

Automation options

Add a load cell group and powder raw-material feeding bunkers to the preparation mixer, and ingredient dosing becomes automated and weighed to specification — repeatable recipes without an operator on a scale.

Batch or continuous refining

A batch line trades hourly throughput for flexibility and a lower purchase price. For sustained high-volume output the Conti Ball Mill is the better fit; below that, the batch line earns its keep — and because it uses the same Alpy preparation mixers and storage tanks as our continuous systems, upgrading later means adding equipment, not replacing it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What batch sizes do the Batch Chocoline lines run?
Two lines: the Batch Chocoline 500/P refines 500 kg per 3-hour cycle with its ABM-500 ball mill, and the Batch Chocoline 1000/P refines 1,000 kg per 4 to 5 hour cycle with the ABM-1000, both suited to powdered sugar-based products.
How is fineness controlled in a batch cycle?
Circulation time is the control. The mixture keeps passing through the ball-filled vessel until it reaches your target fineness, so running the same recipe the same way hits the same fineness every cycle.
Can I upgrade to continuous refining later without replacing everything?
Yes. The batch mill uses the same Alpy preparation mixers and storage tanks as our continuous systems, so moving up to a Conti Ball Mill later means adding equipment rather than replacing it.
